donna frankland (uk)
yesterday my partners mum phoned us to ask if we could look after one of her mums (my partners nan) dogs for a little while. his nan has been poorly and has decided that 2 puppies are a bit too much for her. my partner has been saying for a little while that he would like a smaller dog of his own as my 2 are very much one woman dogs. we agreed to look after maisie, and have asked his mum to hold off looking for a new home until we see how she settles as chris has fallen big time already! she is 4 months old, crate trained socialised with kids and people, house trained, knows sit etc. she is a little wary of other dogs at the minute but i dont think that will take long to fix! she is a westie x border terrier. here she is, meet maisie! i never thought i would own a terrier, but i must admit to already be falling for her

sea4th
she is a westie x border terrier. /QUOTE] Until I read this, I thought she was a cairn. She's very cute. Good luck to you. I'm not a terrier person, but there's been a couple that have always fascinated me. You'll have to keep us posted how things progress. Carson Crazies
Sucked you right in did she? She's adorable. I've never been much of a small dog person until lately. There's just something about a scruffy little rough and tumble small dog. Too bad you're so far away, she could come play with my new foster, Mitzi! Keith Ramsay
Ditto on not being a terrier person... but what a cutie. She looks like I have always envisioned Greyfriars Bobby.
