Dixie_Girl
I just had to share this! I want to know who the brainiac was that brought the cat?
Dal & Mad's Mom
Very funny.lol
sandra s.
OMG! What a pity the Nobel prizes are already gone.
nancy
Where was this? Did the cat - and the kids - make it OK? Maybe it's the Mommy/Gramma in me. But that doesn't strike me as funny at all.
juliepoudrier
Nancy, If it makes you feel any better, I'd be willing to bet it's a doctored photo. And at least the kids are wearing lifejackets, even if they look like they are having NO FUN. J.
urge to herd
Adding to Julie's observation, there are no visible rips, gashes, or blood on any of the kids. Any cat brought into such a situation would leave wounds behind! Ruth n the BC3
Anda
It's for sure a made up shot, no question about it, but I still laughted like crazy about two months ago when I saw it on an email
shelb'smum
OMG! I love it. and you know some one some where has done that. lol.. well thats not funny but... ANYWAY the picture is great
Black Watch Debatable
I actually saved [what I'm assuming is] the original, when I ran across it last March --- thought it was a hoot with his little feet and tummy and happy cat face and thought the image might be fun to play around with. Looks like other folks had the same idea! Wouldn't surprise me if the kids were Photoshopped as well.
smileyzookie
Photoshopped or not that is hilarious. I LOVE cats, even more than dogs, and Im positive that cat was put in the pic. Look at its face. Its happy... and not to mention near identical to Luisa's picture lol.
Dixie_Girl
Luisa, thanks for sharing that. Hopefully it will calm the nerves of some. I knew the pic was doctored, but it was just funny. You know, like when Wile E. Coyote falls when he steps on the ledge that always breaks. You know he won't get hurt. And you laugh. So, just look at the now documented to be doctored pic, and laugh. I don't care who ya are, thats funny right there.
sandra s.
LOL, the original is pretty funny too! Sometimes I miss being around cats who don't see me as a food dispenser...but I don't think I'd trade in our smug monster anyway.
Maralynn
Those pictures are great! Photoshop can be so much fun Sandra, you just need to find a cat that doesn't take itself or your "smug monster" to seriously
sandra s.
Oh, the smug monster is our old cat, not Kessie, though I have to say that description doesn't fit her all that badly either . Love the picture! I don't think Kessie would ever end up playing with a cat though...the way she stares at them annoys the heck out of them (unless they realize it's a kind of admiration, and turn smug ). Maralynn
Oh, the smug monster is our old cat, not KessieOops! Sorry Kessie! Pepper took it upon himself to teach Missy to play. He just walked up to her (as she was staring at him), started rubbing against her and batting her face. She was confused for a minute, then tenetivly started pushing him around with her nose. He was the first critter I'd ever seen her play with.
