desertranger Posted December 6, 2009 Report Share Posted December 6, 2009 It's been a long day, it's cold and I'm in a lot of pain. Then Jin came to comfort me. He's not a puppy anymore. It's Dec 5th, he's a year old today. Surviving parvo at 12 wks Jin's almost grown up. He's now a Service Dog in Training with his CGC. I can work him at a distance and up close. He helps me get around and his reactivity is slowly going away with work. They say border collies come fully trained with a sheepdog whistle and that it takes a year to learn how to use the whistle.
