bc4ever
After a bit of tweaking with the diet, Daniel has discovered he actually likes food. It seems to work better if we change it up frequently (different toppings, etc.), but when the food bowl comes out now, he gets excited and he can hear the refrigerator door open from anywhere in the house. Stopped by the vet's Saturday to weigh him, and he's gained 4#! His energy level has improved too. I don't think he's ever going to be a foodie; he's still a finicky eater, and isn't much into treats (except cheese). Things Scooter liked, he turns his regal nose up at, and Scooter wasn't all that interested in food either. That's okay--he's obviously eating enough. He was great during the holidays--didn't bother the trees, the gifts, the food all over the place. Welcomed guests. Seemed to take it all in stride. Maybe it's his age or his breed. He has brought smiles and laughter back to our painfully empty home since Scooter's death almost a year ago. So glad we took a chance and adopted him.
