Lewis Moon
This is getting embarrassing. Often, when Cerb is at the "kennel club", after playing hard for a while, he'll offload a loose stool.....not squirty or anything (very technical description!) but more a pudding consistency. When he's at home or on walks they're all nice logs. One of the other owners asked (in hushed tones) if there was anything wrong with him. I said no, that it was just the excitement but she didn't seem to believe me.... Cerb's just over 6 months.
geonni banner
Happens to my dogs, past and present, pretty often - they get excited, and warm from exercise - and they get the "soft ice cream effect."
BCjetta
Happens all the time with our aussie if he's being very active or is excited or stressed.
M.L.
The same thing happens to Bailey when he gets excited or nervous.
Anda
Yup, almost every time at the dog park. Oh, so wonderful to pick up in front of everyone... usually it comes in liquid form, so that I won't be able to actually pick up anything and instead be forced to cover it with dirt and try to collect it that way.... bc4ever
Scooter likes to do that when we take a walk. I always take plenty of bags!
Lewis Moon
Whew....thanks. While it's still a pain in the butt, I'm glad to know it's normal. I always carry a couple of paper towels....those always come in handy. Hadn't tried the dirt trick...next time I will.
