sea4th Posted September 13, 2005 Report Share Posted September 13, 2005 Got the results back today. Invasive spindle cell carcinoma, which, since it had to be cancer, it's not a bad one to have. It's a low grade cancer, not common in dogs with a low rate of metastises (sp?). The post surgical swelling never occurred. She doesn't bother her sutures. I would say, all in all, she is one lucky girl. Thanks everyone. I'm looking forward to Tibbie being with me another couple of years at least! That tough peasant stock---hard to beat! I mean, it's never good news to know that your dog has cancer but like you said, if it had to be cancer, at least it's low grade. I was nervous when I saw your post but SO happy to read what it said!
