Cindy Evans
I have two geriatric, one adult, and two puppies. My husband has three GSD's and we share a chihuahua and I was beginning to think we were hoarders. No worries now...

sixx
I believe there is 42. Sometimes I wonder if I could handle a third dog, now I'm thinking it would be a piece of cake!

Going from 2 to 3 is a huge change. It's the transition from a pair to a pack. The whole dynamic shifts, both in how the household feels and how your dogs interact with other dogs when they encounter them in public. Carson Crazies
My previous boss had a St. Bernard. When he'd bring the dog to the office he also brought a drool towel. For reals.
Anda
OMG...all I can think of is the $1000 a day food bill! They don't eat huge amounts - a friend had a SB who passed away few months ago at the age of 7 - and that was considered a record - she was eating about a cup and a half of dry dog food a day. Plus some cheese and glucosamine treats She was about 120 lbs.
