D'Elle Posted May 30, 2006 Report Share Posted May 30, 2006 Saturday my beautiful red and white foster dog, whom I had named Dustin, went to his forever home. The people were just so thrilled to have him. I was really good, and stayed all cheerful until they were out of sight, for Dustin's sake, but after they were gone I felt such loss, even though I only had him 2 weeks and I *knew* every moment of that, that I would not keep him. I was surprised at myself, but I guess I got attached anyway! We got a call from his new home already, and his new "nickname" is Velcro! I had my foster 4 days and I cried. But most were tears of joy when he got adopted that Sunday. Hope all is well, when are you and Jes coming to visit us?? Bill just walked by and said to say Hi too!
