Beth G
Does anyone know of any chews for dogs that donot contain wheat or corn? For instance- I like Nylabone edibles, but everytime I read the ingredients, I keep running into bad ingredients in the list that would never agree with Pepper's digestion...lol. Rebecca, Irena Farm
Raw bones? Sorry that was smart alecky. I used to like the cheese-based nylabone edibles. They are VERY pricey but pretty much are just cheese protein. Then I discovered Ben is sensitive to dairy products . . . That was the first step down our road to whole foods instead of commercial products!
Beth G
I'm worried about chipped teeth...lol... and poor Pepper is allergic to everything but lamb, rice, beef and chicken.
Dal & Mad's Mom
For the cruch effect I love moo tubes (esophagus) and the dogs love cow noses Merrick makes both.
urge to herd
Try these guys, my dogs love them, they're wheat/corn/dairy free, and they last about 20 minutes. If you want a sustained chew thingy, these won't do, but for an occasional treat they're wonderful. You want the Z ridge chews in the middle of the web page. You can also google and find them at several different online stores. http://www.zukes.com/ Ruth n the BC3

Carson Crazies
I like bully sticks (DH is appalled though, which I think is pretty darned funny). Raw bones. I like the nylabones too, on occasion.
Rebecca, Irena Farm
You told him what they are? Or did he figure it out, clever man that I know he is . . .
Carson Crazies
He asked me what they were, and I said, "Bully Sticks". He asked, "What's a bully stiiii... YOU'RE KIDDING, RIGHT??" I, of course, in typical form guffawed, snorted, and tittered while his face turned red and he walked out mumbling something indiscernable. Sue R
Men can be very sensitive about certain things. It's never a good day for my DH when we have to castrate the bull calves. Sympathy pains, maybe?
