Allie Oop Posted September 2, 2006 Report Share Posted September 2, 2006 We will be going up to the Soldier Hollow Sheepdog Trials tomorrow and (hopefully) again on Monday for the finals. Is there anyone from the Boards who is participating this year? Any close friends or family of someone we should watch for? We are very excited about going up (the trials are held at Soldier Hollow which was a cross country ski venue during the 2002 Winter Olympics). We've gone every year (except for the first) and it is always fun! Lots of crowds (usually close to 15,000 - 16,000 people over the four days), but the competition is amazing to watch. amc Posted September 2, 2006 Report Share Posted September 2, 2006 If you want to see class and grace on the trial field personified, look out for Miss Haley Howard, 2001 National Sheepdog Nursery Champion with Diona (who's run a 75 today), and 2003 National Cattledog Champion Cap, who wound up tied for fifth yesterday.
