urge to herd
A couple weeks ago I posted that I was feeling a bit concerned about SuperGibbs. He didn't seem to have as much endurance as my previous dogs did at age 7 and a half. I got a general bloodwork panel done on Thursday, the vet called me today with the results. Everything is normal except he has low blood calcium. Vet's thoughts at this point are that since he doesn't have any awful symptoms - no tremors, fever, wasting, etc. - that this could be just a fluke. We'll do a more specific test for blood calcium in a month, and I'm going to be getting a urine sample early in the week to drop off as well. So, hopefully it's just my low grade paranoia raising it's suspicious little head, and everything is fine. Will let you know more as it occurs. Gideon's girl
I hope it proves to be nothing and SuperGibbs is back to his regular self in no time.
