Rather than "investigating" vets, time would be better spent educating the city and municipal pet licensing offices. It would have more effect. Vet's are not going to see a major revenue drop giving one shot 4 times in the life of a patient rather than six times.
Journey
Hey Pearse , did you watch the clip? I guess not...it shows staff blatantly lying about the vac. Saying it's a 2 yr vac. when there is no such creature.
Cindy Evans
1) It's FOX so "investigative" and "news" What? Do you have a problem with Fox? At least they don't lie quite as much as the other news venues! Cindy
nancy
Fox? I watch it (only because it's on the TV smack in front of my elliptical machine and, even though I read while I exercise, I can't totally ignore it) at the gym. Interesting that it seems to be the only station that has no idea that Rupert Murdock is a big ball of sleeze who has people bribe police and hack into the phone messages of crime victims. Even delete messages so the family of a murdered girl - and the investigating officers one can assume - thought she was still alive and using her cell phone. They don't lie? Ha. But I agree that you have the right to believe what you want.
Journey
Politics aside those people were blatantly using the vaccine off label isn't that illegal.
nancy
Sure sounds illegal to me. Reading that post that some municipalities require a shot every two years, made me think they were just following a local law. Like when my brother & his wife were in New Mexico and had to get their dog a rabies vaccine every year. But I watched the video, and they sure seemed to be lying about the vaccine to sell more. Man, years ago, our vet was really angry that Animal Control insisted we get Ferg re-vaccinated, with proof sent to them, when she got a small bite from a neighboring dog. She knew that Ferg was up to date. So she wouldn't vaccinate her again on the regular schedule; we waited 3 years form the "booster' that AC demanded. Really pissed us all off as the dog her bit her didn't have to go through that. In fact, we had to do it because the family had no proof that the dog had ever been vaccinated. Claimed they were just sitting it for friends in another county. While the dog had been in their yard for two years!
