For me personally, the yellow on black is distracting, especially if you're going to be reading stories and not just someone's occasional comments. For me personally, the yellow on black is distracting, especially if you're going to be reading stories and not just someone's occasional comments. Yes, do try a different combination to make it softer on the eye...darker font, lighter background is best for web pages. You're a great writer! I though it looked very appealing and easy on the eye. Generally, though, I do agree with people who say that light text on a dark (black) background is harder to read, especially when the font is very small.
