Having a very hard time finding an instructor

Recommended Posts

So I moved back to OKC to stay with my mom while she's ill. I have to have something to do with Summer while I'm here. I wanted to find an agility instructor so i called up one place.... they had closed in October and hadn't updated their site. I emailed another that did UKC/NADAC and even had flyball- no reply and it's been well over a week. I tried to join a yahoo group called MidWest Dog Sports or something like that. No reply.

I'm getting frustrated! The only place I can get to call me back is a group that trains for AKC rally-o and I just don't want to do rally, plus I really hated their trainers and methods when I went to one of mom's sessions with her dog.

Anyone have any ideas?

You probably contacted OK PAWS but I'd try again. http://www.okpaws.com/ There's several links to email different people. I'd try everyone.

They're an active group and have an UKC trial coming up in February. I think I have a personal contact for someone in their club if you'd like it.

You might even try the OKC OTC http://www.ocotc.org/index.htm I don't think they offer agility but could point you in the right direction.

Good luck!

Try contacting Pam Sheehan - http://www.nikesmom.com/ -

She seems to know most people and groups in that area.

I tried OKPaws twice, they're the ones I wanted to try to go to. It's not far and the classes are varied and at good times. Hopefully I'll hear back from them eventually.

And thanks for the other link, I'll send her an email!

And Lizmo, I'm going to sound dumb but what is APDT? Its very familiar and I'm sure I've heard it before but I can't place it.
