urge to herd Posted December 10, 2008 Report Share Posted December 10, 2008 Well, I took some of your suggestions and broke the old lady's routine up a bit. Put some of her kibble between two layers of one of the dog beds and helped her find it. She got a nice massage and grooming last night, with no nasty nail trimming at all, and I found a new trick behavior that she can do, so we worked on that a couple times, just for a couple minutes each. Much less standing and staring, hopefully as a direct result. We'll keep doing stuff like this and change it up for her.
