When we brought him home (it was very late), we didn't have anywhere to put him overnight, so he spent his first night in a Rubbermaid tub! He was sooo good--everyone warned me he'd be up all night, whining and crying, but he did pretty good! He'd sleep for about two hours, pop his head up out of the tub, I'd walk over and stand quietly by him, then he'd lay back down for another two hours. He didn't cry or bark, and the next day we bought him a crate. He slept straight through the night--so long, in fact, that I thought maybe there was something wrong with him! LOL! New "Mom" jitters!
