Shoe Races!

Here are a few pictures that I thought were sorta cute.

 

Niki's favorite toys are a pair of my old shoes. When we get home after being away a while, she likes to have shoe races. It goes like this:

lol, pretty funny Lance was given a pair of old shoes when he was a puppy. I ended up taking them away cause I didn't want him to think chewing shoes was ok. Also, some shoes have little metal lace holes that they can swallow, so watch out for those. I still see my dog running around with a shoe every now and then lol.

I like the "rounding the turn" one best, just because of the expression on her face. I really wished I had a camera with adjustable shutter speeds, though. The motion blur is kind of cute on these, but I've got a lot of others with scenery and a big black & white blur.

 

She's actually been very good about shoes, and indeed about chewing things in general. When she first came home with me, she sniffed at these (which were laying on the patio). I said "OK, it's yours", and she started playing with it. She'll also do chew bones & rawhides that I give her, but hasn't chewed on anything else.

Nope. I'm dysiconic - none of those stupid little pictures EVER make sense to me.

 

But there's one with a green triangle, next to it a box that's green with a tan spot, then a beige thingie with a green +... One of those?

The button is to the left of the smilie face. It kinda looks like a mountain with the sun. Ceana has a pair of shoes that she plays with as well. She swings them around by the laces.
