Jim2000
Kaylee passed her canine good citizenship test last night. I didnt even know that they were going to test her. we just signed her up for an obedience class and when we went there last night the tested her and she passed. now she's a good citiizen, i gues that and a dollar will get me a cup of coffee. Seriously, is it good for anything?
Kat's Dogs
CGC was supposed to mean that your dog was then certified to have some of the same rights as service dogs - but, that never did go into place. Besides, they have dulled down the tests so much now that most dogs can pass without much formal training at all. Unless you have a breed that your insurance doesn't want to insure (like PBs, GSDs, etc) it really doesn't do much for ya. But congrats on passing! Root Beer
Some training schools require it to go on to more advanced classes. Other than that, I've never had any practical use for it.
