geonni banner Posted January 18, 2014 Report Share Posted January 18, 2014 I shampooed my dog today. The last one she had was April 5, 2013. She got sideswiped that day by a skunk. One of the dogs she was running with got militant with a skunk, so there was a cloud… Sugarfoot always looks like she gained ten lbs. after a bath. She gets poofy, not like the AKC “Barbie Collies”, but poofy for her. She hates the bath, but after, she gets positively euphoric. She goes around sideways, rolling her eyes, grinning ear to ear, and she has fits of the zoomies, and an overdeveloped sense of humor. All of my dogs get the zoomies and carpet dives all over the house right after they get baths, which is pretty rare at my house. (I love self cleaning dogs! Border collies are the best.)
