Gideon's girl Posted June 13, 2012 Report Share Posted June 13, 2012 I just read this thread. This sounds like one type of vaccine reaction. Did she get her vacc in the area around her shoulders? If that is the case, you need to make sure your vet is aware every time she gets that vacc. If it is a reaction, then she may need to be pretreated for future vacc and you need to be aware that vacc reactions tend to get worse over time, so she will have to be monitored for a short time after vacc too. We live in the city so rarely see one. It was more for my piece of mind then anything. It's the first one we've ever found. She had her vaccination in her hind end. She's seen the same vet every time and he'll be doing all future vaccinations as well. I will mention it to him when we go for the next one.
