juliepoudrier Posted March 22, 2006 Report Share Posted March 22, 2006 GR was joking. It's an "old shepherd's tale," that the ones with the black roofs in their mouths are the better workers. Penny T mentioned this subject in another thread and there was some discussion about it. The consensus seemed to be that at least among the small sampele in question the color on the roof of the mouth had little bearing on the working potential of the dog....
