lizziej2000
I am trying to find out the proper way to report a irresponsible breeder. We had gotten a border collie pup last week and he died yesterday. The vets had recieved a report about one of his littermates and all signs point to irresponsible breeding. Please help! concrete
I am sorry about your puppy. What did the breeder do to cause the puppy to die?
Bill Fosher
Sorry to hear about your puppy. It must be horrible. Your veterinarian should certainly know how to contact animal welfare agencies.
Lenore
HI I suggest calling animal control in that area. And have a report from the vet on what caused the dog to die. and other info about litter mates. Demand that animal control do a visit. If they are lagging about it. Call one of your county resuce areas. They tend to get things done faster. I write this as we too bought a puppy in dec. and had it 5 days and it died. The litter was also ill. Afraid i dont know the outcome, but did file reports and the breeder admitted that the litter mates were also sick and prob. died. Ours died of a combo of parvo and stomach parasite.
