jad614
How long does it take to process registration? Breeder sent papers about a month ago when she called was told the must be processing since they did not see them. Said nothing had gone through on credit card yet. Thanks for any info
Gideon's girl
I think it took nearly or all of 8 weeks for Gideon's papers, but Micah's only took about 3 weeks, so it could have to do with how busy they are or something.
airbear
Not a litter registration, but I sent a transfer of ownership to the ABCA two weeks ago and I received the papers today. Also, I'm in Canada, and our postal service is not always speedy. Excellent turnaround from the ABCA!
CurlyQ
Papers for Maple took at least two months, if I recall correctly. ETA: ABCA registry.
Debbie Meier
Which registry Jad614?
Gloria Atwater
The office phone number is on the ABCA website. If you call during office hours, you can leave a message with your question and she'll call back. I had a question about sending in a transfer of ownership with name change, and she called me back that same day. ~ Gloria
jad614
Abca. Just worried since it is the breeders/friends first litter that something is missing.
juliepoudrier
Were they definitely sent in? Some breeders don't send them in right away, waiting for names from the new owners and such... J.
Debbie Meier
If the breeder really sent them in a month ago and still no charges and the ABCA office is saying that they have not received them then I would be resubmitting the application. Also, the owner of the bitch is the one that has to send in the application and make the payment. They won't accept the application filled out by the bitch owner with a check written by someone else such as the owner of the male.
