Siena & Kathleen
Siena & I went on a new hike this weekend and ran across a huge field with horse jumping equipment in it. Wow! Siena had just taken one agility class, but that was all it took. She was off across the field, jumping over these HUGE barriers. It was like being a Liliputian! What fun! Siena & Kathleen. diane allen
Don't wanna put a damper on your fun - I've also seen that equipment and been awfully tempted myself. But do consider the safety of your actions. Agility jumps are designed so that the bars fall down if they are hit by the dog. Horse jumps generally aren't. (What happens if the horse's leg hits a jump?!?) Anyway, we've had some fun just walking ON TOP of the jump, with me alongside to catch them if the dog decides to jump or bail. So - take care with your fun. But do have some! diane
Chrysta
Actually horse jumps are made to fall as well, that's how they get faults. It just takes a heck of a lot more force to make them fall.
