We walked him through a sporting goods store, pausing when people wanted to pet him, then off to two nursing homes, and finished up with lunch with the group (four of us, plus dogs), at a restaurant that not only allows us to come in, but welcomes us. It was a way for us to have special time together when she was no longer active, and the speed she used to charge towards the school said it all. Enjoy your volunteering together.....
