Andlcs
Hello, I'm looking for a DVD (could be a documentary or "how-to style") that covers everything one needs to know to manage a large sheep farm. Like what are modern techniques and tools farmers use, that talks about flock management styles, shelter, health care, food, breeding/genetics, lambing etc. Thank You. Bill Fosher
I don't see how you could expect "everything one needs to know" about such a huge subject to be distilled into a single film.
Smalahundur
I don't see how you could expect "everything one needs to know" about such a huge subject to be distilled into a single film. Depends on the length of the film... But seriously, I also wondered about the goal of the TS.
Tea
Oh you guys! (What is the TS?? Another idea is find a mentor shepherd in your area. It is much easier to be shown by someone doing it.
Bill Fosher
Suppose you're right about the length of the film. I've been watching a film about shepherding for the last 21 years, and I still don't know everything one needs to know. I reckon if the time comes when I finally know everything one needs to know, it'll be time to try something else.
