  1. I'm having a similar problem. I've just bought 15 texel yearlings that were not used to dogs and it keeps bunching up on the fence and running away from me and the dog. I'm training with 4 or 3 sheep inside a small pen with the dog running outside but it's getting boring for me and the dog. How can I speed up the process a little? I wanted quiet sheep that comes to me at the middle of the field...
  2. Hi, where can I find the full results of dutch national championship? thanks
  3. Hello, I want to trace back my dog's pedigree a few generations more. I've completed aprox. 80% of it, every time it reaches an ISDS dog it's piece of cake. But now I have a few dead ends that I just can't find more info. I'm attaching an ABCA pedigree to help. It's not my dog's pedigree but it has the dogs I'm interested in which is on the dam's side Lash x Bittsy mating. Thank You. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  4. Thank you. I was told the other word is nol. On an online dictionary it says nol means "to fetch". So it kinda makes sense to fetch back. Here's a video with the lie down command: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rE-t0XHcL6U (it's from Glyn Jones' (Bodfari) second DVD). Thank You all.
  5. Hello thank you guys for your replies. here's a video of aled owen using his look back command in welsh (near 3min and 50 sec): or here (at the second fetch near 2mins): http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6251834809262027053# I'm going to upload a small video with the lie down and walk on commands. Thank You. hello, I like welsh trainers and the words they use and I'd like to learn commands in many languages. You can post in your language too! It could be useful to brace work with 2 or more dogs.
  6. Hi, Can somebody teach me some basic training commands in Welsh language such as lie down, walk on, look back etc ??? Thank You
  7. Hello, I'm looking for a DVD (could be a documentary or "how-to style") that covers everything one needs to know to manage a large sheep farm. Like what are modern techniques and tools farmers use, that talks about flock management styles, shelter, health care, food, breeding/genetics, lambing etc. Thank You.
