jdarling
From Boise Craigslist ... Pyrenees X Collie pup - $100 (Homedale) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: 2010-04-06, 1:24PM MDT Reply to: sale-dpjtz-1679338873@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I got him for a stock protection dog, then was given a purebred mature Pyrenees who is doing a great job. I don't need two. He's a wonderful dog and might work as dual purpose herding and protection, he shows both drives. This photo of him is when he was a young pup, last fall. Dal & Mad's Mom
I would doubt the dual purpose idea. We rescued 10+ Golden pyr pups and I think they are great dogs and beautiful but, I doubt they could do stock guarding. I may only be seeing the rejected pups that are too soft but, they are great family dogs. Very cuddly.
juliepoudrier
The implication of keeping the pure LGD, who is doing a great job, being that the mix wasn't doing a great job or she wouldn't have needed a second dog. Why set tthis dog up to fail? She should do him and any future owner a favor and place him as a pet. J.
