RaisingRiver
Disc Dog activities and participation in the Pac NW are pretty much nil, esp compared to the rest of the USA. There are however, 3 more events left in the season and if you are in the area, please come on out. You and your dog can participate as long as you have good off leash control while fetching, or just come and watch. It's totally fun, easy to do and usually free, competition approved discs are available at the events. FDDO Cascade Classic 7/25/2009 10am Registration opens 9:30 $15 per dog/handler team Go Dog, GO! RaisingRiver
River and I will be at the Regional Qualifier (as listed above) this year, we'll be doing Distance/Accuracy AND Freestyle. ANYONE can come out and participate. You can register onsite at 8:30am. It's the last event of the year in the state. Sure to be a fun event, or just come out and watch and cheer for your favorite dog. 95% of the dogs are BCs. Couple of freestyle videos of the dogs that will be there:

Rave
Darn I've missed the local ones. I was planning to do the Kirkland one but had to work that day (last minute emergency). For the Shoreline one I'll be in BC at a trial. Pooey! You guys missed out on seeing my hysterical frisbee throws! lol

ShoresDog
In DiscDog events, do you have to use a rigid plastic frisbee? Or can you use one of the soft ones? I bet River kicks butt in frisbee competitions! Does Clara's Bing join in these? Like her doppleganger Bing, Daisy loves frisbee catching, and Juno's getting pretty good at it too.
