Jo&Tex
I posted about some Calico sheep that I had seen on display at a chicken swapmeet. My landlords sheep are Suffolks and Rideau Arcotts. He bought a young white ram in the fall - wasn't sure what breed it was. Now I'm guessing he's carrying some katahdin. The ram doesn't have much of a fleece but I wouldn't call him a hair sheep either. He sure makes pretty babies tho. This is his first lamb, thrown this morning out of a Suffolk ewe. EmilyMiller
WOW! That baby is pretty. I didn't think lambs came that color but I guess if you mix the breeds they could come out any color. One of my pet sitting clients has a goat dairy and she has had some awsome looking calico baby goats out of does that are either all brown or only have brown with a black dorsel stripe. It's amazing the colors you can get in animals. Emily & Shelby

Bill Fosher
That yellowish tan could just be white wool stained by birth fluids. Cute little bugger.
