BNM1980
What are your book recommendations for a beginner who wants to start clicker training? There are a lot of books available on Amazon. Where to start? Thanks.
Root Beer
Click for Joy is excellent for someone just starting with clicker training. It is very thorough and extremely user friendly.

Soda-pop
Clicking by Peggy Tillman is a very good, very simple book. Lots of how-to, not so much "why" if you don't care as much about the "why". It's what got me clicking.
Alaska
I would strongly recommend a DVD over a book. It's all about things like timing and rate of reinforcement, and if you haven't seen it done "right", you're quite likely to get it wrong. When I was getting started, I found "The How of Bow Wow" to be a really useful.

sluj
Devi probably doesn't want to brag here, but you can see some neat videos of clicker-training in action here http://canisfilmfestival.com/winners.html

Devi
Do you know how much this DVD costs? I bought mine for $34.95-- pricey, but most specialty dog training DVDs are much more so.
