Blue Wolf
Anyone know of a herding trainer in Illinois? Preferably in the Chicagoland area, but I'm willing to travel to NW Indiana or Southern Wisconsin.
Mark Billadeau
I would contact a Land of Lincoln Border Collie Association member for help. Mark

Joshua
Have you tried free resources or training yourself? I found http://dogobediencetrainingadvice.com/ to be very helpful
Sue R
What Blue Wolf appears to be looking for is stockdog training, not obedience. For training on stock, nothing beats a good instructor.
Blue Wolf
Yes, I am looking for stock training. I have obedience well covered, but thank you regardless.
steve56
Yes, I am looking for stock training. I have obedience well covered, but thank you regardless. I recommend Linda Franklin, in Shabbona, IL. She's great. I've been training with her for the past two years and found her to be an extraordinary teacher. Long, intensive training sessions at a reasonable price. Here's her phone number: 815-824-2746. FYI, I live in La Grange Park, just west of Chicago--from my door to hers is a 60 minute drive west. Very accessible for people in the Chicago area. If you call her, please tell her Steve told you to do so--I might get a free lesson out this! Steve W.
