coon
i have a youngster that wouldn't leave her stainless water pan alone--dinged it day and night, course that meant water all over herself and the floor so a 2-3 months ago i replaced it with a galvanized dish that mounted secure, no way it could get loose or make interesting noise but soon after i noticed a small bare spot on her leg, no red or soreness, no pest or chewing indicators. i sprayed it and forgot it. then 2 more spots just the same followed. bare but no indication why. i also noted that she hadn't drunk much water of late, so i replaced the pan with stainless again. she must have matured some because this time it's left alone and she drinks a ton again. so far no new spots since replaceing the pan. just wonderin if it could have been the galvanized pan causing the spots?
