When at my mom's, she was there for a little over a year, she never played with toys. When we go to visit she never touches toys. Even if I bring her own from home with us. My mom got one for her collie, and aside from his initial interest when it was brand new, he won't touch it, UNLESS company comes over. If I go over to my mom's, or if my brother does, Buddy has to say hello and then he goes and gets his bone and lays there happily chewing away. He's not being posessive about it at all, we could walk right over and take it away and he wouldn't even care.
