Caroline
Hi there, After reading the OTC wormer discussion, I have a few questions. I had a diagnosis on my young female, Peg, of whipworm. She was prescribed panacur, three days in a row, one week later, and three weeks after that (which is next Monday). Does panacur cover whipworm? Caroline Thanks!
Alicia
Yes, Panacur, which is a brand of fenbendazole, is effective against round, hook and whip worms. http://www.marvistavet.com/html/body_panacur.html
Caroline
Thank you very much. It was mentioned as not effective in the other thread. I got concerned although my dog definitely is looking healthier already. Thanks alot. Caroline
