Keegan's Mom Posted August 20, 2004 Report Share Posted August 20, 2004 I have a quick question for you concerning a cat...not a dog. I am just a little worried and do not know where else to turn. Our cat was seen for his yearly physical today and they heard a heart murmur. He is 3 years old, healthy otherwise. He has an appt next Friday for an ultrasound. My question is how "bad" can cardiomyopathy be in cats? I just want to be prepared for what they tell us. Our vet said that is the most common thing related to a heart murmur...or something like that - couldn't take it all in. Has anyone had similar experiences? Thanks.
