Shawna
A while back I posted about our little aussie who was yiking and falling over sometimes when she ate. I had her in to the vet but she didn't have much to say other than "elevate the food dish" which we did but it didn't help. We have narrowed the problem down, it's in her head. We've been told it's probably a problem with her jaw catching. The falling down was her "submitting" when she felt the pain even though it looked more like she was being knocked over violently. She has to go for x-rays as soon as I'm able so we can tell for sure but everything seems to fit what we were told. Any way I just thought I would post an update for those who gave suggestions before. We have her on soft wet food (got to brush her teeth more now) and she has become a whole new dog. Tassie
That's good news, Shawna - at least as far as the little one being more comfortable now, and you having a good idea what's going on.
