readysetjess Posted January 9 Report Share Posted January 9 I am looking into getting another pup for agility. My 5.5 year old border collie/heeler mix has never really taken to it but I love it. I have been looking at a breeder for an AKC Border Collie whose parents would both be herding dogs but my current dog likes dogs that are smaller than her. She is 35lbs. I was told and have liked the Borderpap mix but wonder what people's thoughts are on them for agility. I also wonder where you find these mixes. alligande Posted January 15 Report Share Posted January 15 This is a group that supports the philosophy that border collies should only be bred for their stock working ability so is the wrong venue to ask about both an AKC bred dog or a purpose bred mix breed.
