Deworming a 6 pound dog with safe-gaurd

I got these 1 gram packets of safe-gaurd. The dose is 1 gram per ten pounds. If dosing a 6 pound dog, can I give the whole 1 gram packet, or do I need to split it?

Packet size is the daily dose. The dog must be treated with this dose for 3 days in a row.

 

Weigh your dog to make sure you are using the right size and number of packets. If your dog's weight is in between the suggested dosing sizes, it is safe to use the next higher size. For example, an 11-pound dog should be treated with the 2-gram packet

Thanks! I actually just went and looked up the doseage for the goat stuff, as it's liquid and easier to administer.

I use the liquid too, get double strength banana flavored from Avenue Vet here in Iowa, only need to give 1 cc / 8 lbs. Only $55 for 500 ml which would be comparable to the 1000 ml bottle dose wise, that sells for around $120. I use it on the sheep too.
