ghfbcrescue
LOUIE is approximately 10 mo - 1 year old and needs a special rescue and foster home to help provide structure so he can handle life better. His previous home had no idea what to do with him so while he has been loved, he is chaotic and confused by how to respond to everything. He barks a great deal, paces repetitively, rears back to engage with dogs or people and reacts to sounds, as many blind dogs do. His movements can stress other dogs, especially if there are many Border Collies in the setting so would be best with less stimulation. Louie is also incredibly sweet, friendly and loves to cuddle. He is fine with everyone he meets as well as cats. He is NOT aggressive in any way at all, just very busy compounded by his deficiency. We are hoping for a skilled rescue to take him in. Louie is housetrained and crate trained. Louie is 40 pounds, has been evaluated at Cornell opthalmology and surgery is not likely to yield any change. He was born with ocular anomalies. He has rabies vaccine as well as his first parvo/distemper shot, has been wormed but is NOT neutered.
