Jade-569
Hi, My collie Piper lunges at cars, I don't walk her on road very often and try to avoid them when I can as I don't want her to practice the behaviour, Does anyone have any training tips to help train her out of it ? I have already started sitting near roads but far back on the path and treating her when she ignores cars but it seems to be because of the noise or speed as she doesn't do it when the car is slow and quiet. Also I like to hide things for her to find but to do this I have been shutting her out of the room while I hide the toy but she scratches at the door while I am hiding it, any tip on how to stop her doing this will also be greatly appreciated Thanks

This forum is for discussion about the training of border collies to work livestock.
