Camden's Mom
Per Waffles' suggestion I have started "shuttering the house" around the time the kids come out to play (closing the front door, drawing the blinds, putting on the TV or music, etc). I was up in my studio yesterday (after shuttering the place) and I heard a half dozen kids playing outside. I listened for the pitter-pat of Camden's feet as he scurried to his crate and... nothing! I went downstairs a little while later, the kids had been actively playing for at least 20 minutes at that point, and Camden was sound asleep in the living room. He lifted his head when he heard me come down. I could still hear faint sounds of the kids so I know he could too. Then, after politely declining a potty break, he went back to sleep! Woohoo!!! ) (thanks waffles!!)
waffles
That is awesome! I can remember putting my head to the window and listening for a few minutes for fireworks. People would set them off from morning til night so I would listen, if I heard nothing I would quickly grab Levi and go outside for some quick fetch or a potty break (or dash to the car) and back inside quick to not push our luck. Hopefully the more days that go by like that the calmer/better he will get!
