We were extremely fortunate enough to have found a fantastic trainer to help us with obedience training(which we discovered was actually training for us than her). We are still working off leash heeling and 'standing and staying', but other than that, she listens fairly well. My issue is that we are moving to VA and I don't know how to begin looking for a handler that could continue to help us train her and show her since I have seen the difference in her behavior w/ a pro. tucknjill Posted July 7, 2003 Report Share Posted July 7, 2003 Hey, I used to do obedience pretty competitively in that area...You need to get up with the people at Merrimac dog training club..contact me privately at Tucknjill@aol.com and I will give you a contact name and number..they are pretty well up there as far as having good instructors and offering clinics.
