terrecar Posted April 29, 2012 Report Share Posted April 29, 2012 I don't have much time to do the message board thing lately, but I just wanted to say how pleased I am with Hannah's behavior as my constant companion. This is my first Border Collie mix, and I am amazed at how rapidly she picks up on what I want from her. We stayed in a hotel for a few days and she was a total delight. I was so proud to be able to have her accompany me in the lobby. She was a perfect lady (even though she thinks the ice machine is the devil). Today we went to a dog park for a few hours where I tested her recall multiple times. She dropped what she was doing and did a perfect recall, each time. I truly think I have been blessed to have come upon this dog, and I honestly think the Border Collie in her suits me quite well. Other than my Whippet, I don't think I've ever had such a well behaved dog in all my years of having dogs. I am still not ready for a second dog yet, but when I am, I hope to find another Border Collie or mix. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
