MJWPG
Is there anyone who can help me with a question, a friend of mine runs a BC Rescue here and just got in two BC from the US who were going to be gassed, one is extremely dog aggressive, anyone have any ideas on how to approach training? Thanks MJ
Sue R
You might want to post this in the general section if you are looking at non-stockdog issues. I wish I could help but I've no worthwhile experience/knowledge about aggression issues.
Black Watch Debatable
Dog-dog aggression is often very manageable, given some time and effort on the part of the handler. Please check out the Yahoo group AGBEH (Aggressive Behaviors in Dogs) at this link: AGBEH. Registration is free, and the advice (and library of links) can be very helpful. Many, if not most of the behavior issues brought to the AGBEH group involve dog-dog aggression. To give you a bit of hope, here's a link to a page on dog-dog aggression in pit bulls: Dog Tolerance Levels. Best of luck!
