Lewis Moon
A while back we had a bird feeder off our back fence. Because the birds were extremely messy and there was a whole "circle of life" thing happening due to a Redtail deciding it was his lunch counter, we stopped putting out seed. Later on, we started to get a wonderful crop of grass species on which Cerb loved to graze. DW didn't think it went with our feng shui and pulled it out. I'd like to plant a pot for Cerb to graze (so he'll lay off the spider plant)...what are some good/healthy relatively perrenial grains? Jedismom
How about perennial peanut? http://www.florida-agriculture.com/livestock/peanut_hay.htm It's supposed to do well in sandy soil and be drought resistant.
