nancy
I'm sure I've read threads about this, but I can't come up with the right search word. Fergie is now over 15. And she's occasionally rather odiferous in the evening in the den. No changes in her diet, just - as far as we can tell - in her aged internal processes. Heck, we noticed this with our parents. And others may be noticing it about us. We don't, but our senses are deteriorating as fast as the rest of us. However, this, thankfully rare, smell is impossible to miss. Is there anything we can add to Ferg's diet that would help? Beano comes to mind, but I don't know if it's OK for dogs. Got to love DH - he was ready to blame the cat. Just because he likes Ferg better. But the cat left the room for a while - and a great whiff occurred. So he's "considering" that it just might be Ferg. Tommy Coyote
There was another thread on this not very long ago - Don McCaig has a dog that is odiferous. People came up with a lot of different ideas: probiotics, change of food. It's over on General Discussion - A Gasbag. Last post was Jan. 28. nancy
Thanks. My stabs as search words didn't work. She's been so good for most of her 15 years. I suspect it has a lot to do with her age. She's been on the same food for about 14 of those years.
