Denise Wall
They just posted the running order for the Bluegrass ( http://www.bluegrasstrial.com/ )and out of 166 entries in Open I, I am first with Mick and last with Zeke. What are the chances of that?!! I swear.
Shoofly
Sheesh and i thought i was the queen of bad/weird draws. I actually like my draws with Gael - 134 and 163. Spottie will be a scratch now and i doubt i'll fill those spots. Might run Ben though, we'll see. Jet drew the same spot both days in Adv PN pretty much - 46 and 45. Sure beats last year when she was the second dog to step on the field with those sheep...daunting for the baby dog back then.
Denise Wall
How in the world are they going to run 166 Open dogs in two days per run? They said they have a waiting list for scratches so it looks like they'll keep about that many dogs. That's more than the finals which is run in three days on a similar sized course. The sheep will be quite fresh and from the same place as last year, meaning there ain't going to be a lot of runs finishing before time. Shoofly
Yeah i hate when they have to cut the time too. Remember a couple of years ago when it was too short? I guess they must have a plan of some sort though. That is a TON of dogs.
Shoofly
Hey Denise - I was just thinking -- the days are a whole lot longer in mid-May than at Finals time. That'll help with getting through the dogs.
