cadi Posted April 1, 2004 Report Share Posted April 1, 2004 First of all, I must tell all of you that I really enjoy this board. It is full of so much information and FUN!!! We are getting ready to start our young dog on ducks,we have no access to sheep. Where do we get the breeds that are suggested,how many and ect... Also, we need some confidence building advice. The plan is to train for moving cattle. My husband and I farm and have feeder cattle. Maybe trialing in the future also. Thank You for any information you can provide. toney Posted April 2, 2004 Report Share Posted April 2, 2004 I heard secondhand that Roy Taber's Biscuit, the new Nursery Cattledog Winner, was trained on ducks and went to work cattle once a week or so with Biscuit's breeder.
