There's something called a Freedom harness (or something like that) that's talked about on the SD list, and I'm looking into that. It's for Service Dogs and works well from what I read. Erin, it would be nice if he could help pull me Monday but if he can't then it's no big deal. It's a shame that I couldn't just hold onto his tail. (No, I wouldn't do that!) Pearse, if I brought him to the zoo then I would be asking too much from him. Trust me, I wouldn't take him to the hospital with me if I didn't think he was ready for it. The ONLY thing he'll do poorly with is being away from me, and that's going to be an issue for as long as he has SA. He'll be just fine in a down-stay though, and wouldn't mind a lead vest if needed.
